TINY TOTS HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN
Tiny Tots is following CDC recommendations on health.
Tiny Tots families must keep children stay when sick. Tuition will not be suspended when your child is home sick if you want your child’s spot kept open for them; we must keep our teachers paid;
All toys and touch surfaces will continue to be disinfected throughout the day.
Children have individual containers for supplies.
Classroom will continue to be disinfected after each class group.
Handwashing practices will continue to apply for children & staff as follows:

Handwashing practices will continue to apply for children & staff as follows:
- Entering center at the start of the child's day
- After toileting
- Before eating
- After eating
- After playing outside
- After blowing his/her nose
- After coughing or sneezing
- Before & after when engaging in certain learning activities
- Nose & mouth should be covered when child coughs or sneezes with either hand or elbow (please continue to practice this skill at home). Children will be directed to wash hands after coughs and/or sneezes
- Tissue use will be encouraged and hand washing after use
- If there is a case of communicable disease, Tiny Tots Preschool will contact and follow recommendations of the state and communicate with parents.

Suggested Activities for 3's & 4'sHandwashing
Getting dressed by self Putting socks and shoes on Putting jacket on and zipping by self Clean up toys, craft area, etc Clean up after meals and snack Practice recognizing name and learning the letters in name. This can be done with name puzzles, playdough, salt, chalk, paint, shaving cream, etc. Make it fun! Practice rote counting/counting out objects Have a scavenger hunt around the house- look for shapes, letters, colors Read a story every day -What do you think will happen in the story next and how do you think the story will end? Play games teaching turn taking. Art projects- let your child be creative Puzzles Plant seeds HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!!
